Miriam Skydell is the founder and director of Miriam Skydell and Associates, LLC which has been in existence since 1993. Through more than 30 years of personal experience in treating children in the field of OT, Miriam has developed a large network and gleaned respect from NJ BOE administrators as well as private, charter and pre -school directors.

Miriam Skydell and Associates, LLC is an NJDOE certified agency committed to utilizing the most qualified therapists who provide effective treatment to students with a wide range of disabilities. All therapy is goal directed, based on realistic and attainable goals achieved in accordance with the students IEP. For over 30 years our team of therapists have successfully worked in collaboration with school districts across the state to help students focus on improving function within their school and home environment. Our therapists provide students the tools that enable them to reach their optimal potential and become productive members of society.

Miriam Skydell and Associates, LLC provides Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy and Speech Therapy services to students with IEPS or 504s through 1:1 direct service, pull out therapy, inclusion therapy, small group therapy, in class consultation (as it relates to therapy), teacher education and evaluations. In addition, we contract to private schools to provide services through use IDEA and 192/193 funding.

Our clinic/ agency contracts with your school and places the most professional and qualified OT PT and ST to provide school based therapy in Bergen, Hudson and Essex county as well as in NYS .

We currently have a staff of over 40 therapists placed in schools with over 175 therapist contacts who are available for part time or full time work and we have the capability to expand when and if the need arises. Miriam Skydell and Associates, LLC specializes in short term coverage, maternity leave, sick leave and influx in students. We are well known for our ability to obtain therapists at any point in the year for any amount of time.
