This a great activity to do with your children at the start of Fall!
Materials:
– 2 pieces of large white oak tag
– Colored construction paper
– Pencil
– Scissors
– Brown Marker
– Black marker
– Glue
Directions:
1. Trace large tree on oak tag
2. Have kids color in the tree in brown marker
3. Cut out the tree
4. Trace the childrens’ hands on the colored construction paper
5. Have the kids cut out their hands
6. Write a fall activity on each of the leaves with the black marker
7. Paste the tree onto the other piece of oak tag (You can also tape the tree to a wall if you want it on display)
8. Tape the leaves onto the tree
You can either take off the leaves when each activity is completed or put a check mark next to it – anything works!

– Go apple picking
– Bake an apple pie
– Visit a pumpkin patch
– Jump in a pile of leaves
– Take a hay ride
– Watch the Thanksgiving Day Parade
