Polar Bear Craft

This Polar Bear craft is as easy as it gets! Today’s post is perfect for a bit of winter crafting! This easy polar bear craft for toddlers is suitable for older kids too but the materials it uses mean that it’s a great fine motor activity for little hands.

Supplies you’ll need:

  • Blue card stock or construction paper
  • Black card stock or construction paper
  • White Paint
  • Cotton balls or pom poms
  • Googly eyes
  • Glue

Instructions:

1. To get started, pour some white paint onto a plate. This makes it easier to dip pom pom or cotton ball into. Plus, some great practice for fine motor skills! (And anything other than a paintbrush makes it more interesting for kids)

2. Start to make a big circle for your polar bears face using your pom pom stamped in the white paint and then filling it in with pom pom prints. When you are happy with the circle add  two ears at the top, you could use different sized pom poms for this if you like.

3. To finish your polar bear add some googly eyes. Add a nose and a mouth cut from black construction paper and glue it on. One of the nice things about this craft that makes it good for toddlers is that it really doesn’t matter if you don’t make a perfect bear shape, any pom pom prints that go off course could of course be snowflakes!

And there you have it! A fun, easy, and adorable winter craft for kids of any age. Let us know what you think!
